This is a hilarious romantic comedy about a couple who have decided after 22 years of child-rearing in the suburbs to move to the big city for some fun and freedom. However, their plans are disrupted when Greg brings home Sylvia, an incredibly woman-like canine. Trouble arises with two females in the same household both vying for Greg's attention, espcially when he seems to prefer the dog.

This fast-paced mystery comedy will keep you on the edge of your seat right up to the very end. Two academics spend the weekend at a cottage with their wives. One is a firm believer in reincarnation, the other is not. To prove a point, one attempts a practical joke which goes murderously wrong. Throw in a naive young policewoman and the plot will really thicken.

Directed by Heidi Kachel
By special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.

Jerry Sloan is a successful writer of advertising jingles married to an equally successful lawyer. Living with the happy couple is the not-so-happy Abe Dreyfus, Jerry's curmudgeon of a father-in-law. The situation is exacerbated when Jerry's mother, Mildred, loses her house in a fire and needs a place to stay. Abe and Mildred can't stand each other. Thus squabbles develop right up to the surprise finale.
